Copyright

In Greek copyright law there is no concept of registration, such as the law of industrial property. The rights under the law of intellectual property exist once the project has been created and has acquired a specific format. The author does not have to follow any formal procedure such as to file his/her work in a special register or to pay any fees in order to exercise his/her intellectual property rights.

However, there are practical ways for obtaining protection, which vary on a case by case basis. We assist our clients not only in protecting their copyright in works of authorship (including software, databases, websites, publications, photographs, works of art, music and films) but also in drafting agreements regulating their commercial exploitation and the exercising of their moral rights.
